Spring Break Essentials

Can anyone else believe it’s already March!? 2013 has been flying by, and I’m so happy to finally be able to say spring is around the corner. March has tons of good things to offer, from warmer weather to nice holidays and more, but it’s pretty safe to say that the best part of March is Spring Break! Spring Vacation brings a well deserved break from school and a chance to relax with friends and family. But even better? Spring break gives you the perfect opportunity to play with and express new spring, warm weather trends!

With all the enthusiasm and excitement centered around the long awaited vacation, the last thing Spring Break should be is stressful. Everyone can be familiar with the tricky business of packing, which is why Frankie’s is here to help. Whether you’re a kid, teen, or adult, Frankie’s is equipped with all essential Spring Break staples.

Ombre shorts are a great trend this spring.

If you’re a girl looking to give your Spring Break packing list a bit of a punch, you can never go wrong with a few key pieces. The perfect pair of cut off jean shorts will never go out of style, so update yours by choosing a cool ombre option by Tractor.  Pair the shorts with a fun pair of sandals to accomodate for the warm weather–right now I’m loving a pair by Steve Madden. Last but not least, add this Vintage Havana Kids crochet tank and you are good to go for several vacation occasions!

This cutout feels fresh and unique!

If you’re a teen or older and want the same fabulous spring style, jean shorts are also for you. The fringe on these Free People shorts make them feel boho and different. The cut outs on this ASIS tee also work with the boho vibe. Add with a hip headband to hold back hot weather hair and your Spring Break wardrobe is more than set.

What do you guys think? Anything else you’ll be bringing along this March? I’d love to hear!
